Lately, I’ve been moving at a slower pace—and it’s reminded me just how much beauty lives in the in-between. I wrote more about that here, in case you’re also navigating a season of change or uncertainty.
In the meantime, here are a few things that have been making my days feel a little fuller—things I’ve read, watched, eaten, worn, and loved.
What I’m craving:
Long, leisurely meals with friends.
Shakshuka—specifically this Ottolenghi recipe I’ve had bookmarked forever.
A warmed, buttery croissant (preferably eaten outside with a coffee and no plans).
What I’m wearing:
My new Sezane cardigan (in sage) over a white tank with wide-leg jeans and sneakers. Also, plenty of cozy, oversized sweaters with this silk skirt, tights, and boots.
What I’m watching:
White Lotus—when this season is over, I’d highly recommend going back and rewatching seasons one and two to fill the Sunday void.
Ellen Pompeo on Call Her Daddy—if you want to laugh, maybe cry, and leave feeling nothing short of empowered.
Seth Rogen’s new Apple TV+ show The Studio—it’s new but I already know this will become a fast favorite. Hilarious, visually fun, very “inside Hollywood.”
What I’m loving:
Waking up without an alarm.
Mornings spent reading in bed.
Walking dates with people I adore.
Homemade iced matcha: coconut water + cashew milk + a dash of sea salt = perfection.
Spending entire evenings off my phone.
What I’m reading:
I’ll Have What She’s Having by Chelsea Handler—I can’t recommend her latest book enough. Equal parts beach read and pep talk.
Talking at Night by Claire Daverly—described as “A beautifully observed, tender love story with characters you really care about…a bit like Normal People” (sold).
This Substack essay on learning to sit with what’s uncomfortable: “The Space Between” (timely in all the right ways). Also, “Matcha spots worth your $9.50”—because I’ll be in New York next month (!). I am over the moon excited—you’ll definitely be hearing more about that soon.
Lastly, what’s making me LOL:
More soon, probably from a coffee shop.
