This piece really resonated with me. I kept nodding along as I read. In many ways, your path sounds a lot like mine. I’m in that odd in-between place, trying to figure out what comes next. I’ve stopped applying for jobs that look good on paper and that I know I could do, but the real question is—do I actually want to?
It’s inspiring to see you choosing yourself, giving yourself the space to figure things out and step into something new. Wishing you all the best on this next adventure, and thank you for sharing this <3
amandine! thank you for taking the time to share the above - it means so much to me and feels good to know i’m so far from alone in this! we’re doing great. i’m excited to see where we’ll both be another 3-6 months from now. you’ll have to keep me posted 🫶
Loved reading this, someone once described it to me like we are ascending up a mountain but not straight up, more like circling and slowly getting higher, but each time we circle we pass a similar point to where we once were, revisiting the same lessons but from a slightly higher (hopefully) viewpoint. We all keep doing our cycles until we just get so sick of ourselves we do something different I think haha. Anyway thanks for sharing <3 good to re-connect with you on here! x
I don’t know you, but sending you a virtual hug haha I actually wrote about the same thing last week… We’re both in that in-between space, just moving through it in our own ways. I totally feel you: it’s confusing, but deep down we know the work and letting go is necessary to move forward. Wishing you all the best 💛
this resonated with me so much! same age, lost my father to cancer this past summer (my mom over a decade ago) and I also very recently decided to hit pause and bet on myself! really loved reading this.
diana, thank you for sharing! that really means a lot. losing a parent changes you, and my heart goes out to you for all that you’ve been through. betting on yourself is hard but so worth it. i know your parents are cheering you on and so proud of you too. i believe in us 🫶
This is so great to hear Jess. I love how you share your past experiences and how you’re taking your time now to figure out what’s next for you. Enjoy this time, dear😘
Amen girlfriend. Choose you 🤍
This is exactly where I am. I felt like I was reading about me!
i’m so glad it resonated. we are so not alone 🥹
